My first silicone Bracelet: Words are not always as they appear!

www.brandwristbands.comMy first silicone wristband was purchased in June of 2005. I was shopping with my mother and little sister at a store in North Carolina. I had been begging for one for a long time, because literally every kid at my school owned one. They had silicone wristbands from every charity, lined up and down their arms and some people wore them on their ankles.

Livestrong bracelets, breast cancer awareness bracelets, child abuse prevention silicone bracelets, were all part of the ones more commonly seen. Then of course there were the silicone bracelets proclaiming ones love for another person, best friend bracelets, and many more.

I spotted the perfect silicone bracelet inside a popular boutique, and it was on sale for $1.50. It said in bold letters "proud". That was pretty cheap, and I begged my Mom to buy it for me. She agreed, and I put it on immediately. I wore it proudly all day, and I admired the soft silicone as well as the pretty colors that it was made from.

www.mysiliconewristband.comThe next day at school I wore it out of excitement and showed it off to everyone I knew at school. People were clearly jealous of my wonderful silicone bracelet!
That is, until someone blatantly pointed out that my first silicone wristband didn't say what I thought it said. Instead, the bracelet said "prude" and everyone laughed at me.

Remember, that when purchasing a silicone bracelet, always double check the spelling! Someone could have easily made a mistake and misspelled the word! And if you are planning content for pre filled party bags, trow silicone bracelet in it.
